Anyone here a real estate agent?
I am thinking about becoming a real estate agent and was wondering what the good and bad points are from people who actually do this job. Is it a good career to have? why or why not?

A friend did it. Good money if you get hot properties to show. Downside, you can kiss your weekends/evenings goodbye.
Hi there, I’m a real estate agent in Southern California. Its a really great job, you have alot of flexability in your schedule and the money is good. The down part is you are paid on commission only and you do alot of work without being paid for it sometimes. It is also hard to budget, so I would recommend having some money put away until you can build up your business. Good luck!

The Bad Points: It’s a dog eat dog. They are ruthless people!!
You better not be a minnow and best know how to swim with the sharks (Great Whites)
You yourself must become RUTHLESS or else you won’t make much money. And after being ruthless will you be able to go home at night and sleep well without wondering who is going to do it to you.
