I would bad mouth them to everyone you know! Check what you signed, they have a right as the letting agents to have it ready for you. I can't believe someone would move out and leave it in that state! food in the fridge, that's just mingin! lol. We rent, and i scrub the house from top to bottom when we leave, sometimes, even add a lick of paint! Let them know your not happy, you never know you may get something back as a gesture of good will. It sounds like really bad service!! I would bad mouth them to everyone you know! It's crappy service, but they didn't do it because they don't like you. It's a careless error on their part, but an error nonetheless. Call them up, tell them what they did wrong and what you want them to do to remedy the situation. Accept nothing less than what you need to be made whole again. Then forget about it because you're going to have to continue to deal with them on a regular basis for as long as you live there. Don't let this bad start color your relationship with them.
