Fixed rate mortgage can a remortgage without paying huge fees?
I have a two year fixed deal with A & L. I have had the mortgage a year but i want to remortgage is there anything i can do so that i dont have to pay early repayments fees etc

If your idea for remortgaging was to get a better rate then it will almost certainly NOT be cost effective.
If you need to raise additional funds, firstly approach A&L for a further advance. If they say no, try for a secured loan (second mortgage) with a specialist finance company, Will almost certainly be cheaper than paying off A&L
