Did anyone have any experience with this?

I just had a bad experience with an real estate agent when I said I wasn’t going to bid on a house because it was overpriced. She started arguing with me.

In any profession I can think of, I’ve run across individuals who I don’t consider to be all that great at what they do, but I’m struggling to recall an entire industry being given a bad rap because of a few bad individuals. Some would probably argue that mechanics are all con artists. But that doesn’t seem to stop people from having their cars serviced every now and then. Lawyers don’t have the greatest reputation, but their job by default is to screw over the other half of the suit or case. So I give them a pass in the “evil” department. It’s just the nature of the industry.

I’m not saying there aren’t less than great agents out there, but why assume that they’re all bad? Especially after only one or two experiences. I know so many GREAT agents, I just don’t see the logic.
For the record, I don’t personally consider mechanics con artists, but have encountered this many times given that I have a number of them in my extended family.
