How many US auto loans and home mortgages financed by banks are out there?
I’m trying to discover the # of US home mortgages and auto loans financed by banks in the US and the average value of each type of loan. It’s for a school project.
Are there companies that assist real estate agents with their listings in a bad market?
One of the agents in my office doesn’t know the contact info, but was telling me about a company that helps sellers negotiate settlements with banks if their house can’t sell for the payoff amount. From what I understand, the listing agent can mark the house down to a sellable price, and when an offer is made, this company can present it to the bank as a settlement in lieu of foreclosure. In addition, the listing agent can still make their regular commission. Does anyone know of a company that does this?
Does anyone know of loan/finance companies that will finance a mobile home on land? (I live in SC). Thanks?
Most banks will NOT finance mobile homes anymore. It’s hard to find places, but I know there has to be somebody out there who finances, because there sure are a lot of mobile homes!!
thanks
Are private housing finance companies supposed to reduce the home loan interest floating rates as per RBI?
I have taken home loan last year on floating interest rate. This year RBI reduced the home loan interest rates and following which all nationalized banks have reduced the interests. however, i have been paying on the same lines as last year.My query is
1.Are private housing finance companies supposed to follow RBI on the interest rates?
2. If yes, how should i take this up with the finance company in context.
3.Is anything can be done by going thru RTI Act , getting the correct info from RBI and taking step for claiming the loss of money i have incurred all this time.
4.should i transfer the loan to a nationalized bank to some nationalized bank which i am thinking of seriously.
Please help.
How much can a bank charge for late fees on a mortgage loan?
I made a mortgage loan payment after the due date which the bank charged me a $50.00 late fee. That is cool. I expected it. They claimed I skipped a payment because I went past 30 days between payments. They wanted a double payment at which I couldn’t swing. The late fee rose up to $150.00 a month and now is up to $254.00 a month. My payment is $500.00 a month. I paid them $1000.00 in July to bring my payment up to date and to meet my monthly mortgage payment requirement for July. However, I did not pay the late fee in full. Many banks will tack on the fees to the end of the balance. My bank is not and is charging me $254.00 late fee on top of a late fee. Is this legal? Are there limits to what they can charge? One late fee has grown to $550.00 for the month which is more than my regular mortgage loan payment. This makes it impossible to catch up. I tried to work with my bank, but the right hand does not know what the left is doing. Any suggestions? This is maddening! Help!

Real Estate License or Title Insurance?
should i bother getting a real estate license in California? home prices are high and owners are retarded for not lowering prices, which means when rates jack up like they will, people will get fuck-ed badly.
lots of people have adjustable rate mortgages and will end up foreclosing by the banks.
having said all that, i don’t think the real estate game is dead in CA, just going to be alot slower.
i’m not really the hold your hand type of person and i don’t like to kiss ass like all these phony real estate people do. but i do enjoy talking on the phone and making sales calls. i am a born sales man and i can sell pretty much anything to anyone.
i have been on a few open houses to look at homes and at the same time, see how these agents/brokers conduct themselves and you know it seems like feast or famine..which is normal for sales.
i heard most of the business in real estate is in the title insurance game. how does this work/process and how does one get into the title insurance racket?
